Salty Village

Our Salty Cabin lies in the village of Zoganje (Zogaj), surrounded by an olive grove counting over three hundred trees. Located nearby are Salina salt pans, a salt factory-turned-bird park where both silence and sounds of nature such as birds chirp and frog “ribbit” can be experienced and enjoyed. Location is perfect for enjoying birdwatching and getting to know around half of the European bird species. Out of 500 species, around 250 can be seen flying over, or around, the Salty Cabin.

This unique DIY cabin, hidden under the trees, is totally private, surrounded by nature, and lovingly built for family and friends to gather and reconnect in a perfect sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of urban life. Holiday home

The house is old but reconstructed in the years 2002-2008. It has architectural value since it has been preserved without damage because reconstruction interventions are done with care. The house is undependable and has two rooms on the ground floor one of which has and wood-fired chimney and a small bathroom.The distance from the towns of Shkodra and Lezha is about 23 km. In the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom that offers all the services.

The house is a century old stone house built by my grandfather, and has since been carefully renovated to preserve its local authenticity. The location is also very favorable by being just a 5 minute walk away from the Old Bazaar, 13 min walk from the castle of Kruje and a 15 min drive to Sari Salltik.
