The Clay House is a unique holiday apartment, gloriously positioned between Margate Main Sands and Dreamland. It’s less than a five minute walk from Margate station and perfectly located to explore all of Margate’s attractions by foot. With a dramatic double height living space overlooking Margate Main Sands, staying at the Clay House is a remarkable experience. The apartment was designed by internationally renowned creative studio Bompas & Parr and built by local artisans over a two year period

The cabin has a comfortable double bed, smart TV, Wardrobe, breakfast bar/laptop work station, several USB points, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, sink/drainer with hot & cold water A chemical toilet is provided in the cabin for night use. There’s a private toilet & a wonderful hot shower both outside (as per photos) for guest’s use. The front decked veranda adjoins an outdoor kitchen with 2 ring gas hob & brick built BBQ overlooking a large garden that has a lovely view of the sea/sunset.

Quaint , secluded , countryside /village cottage. Suitable for travelling golfers, business people, and an inbetween stop over from and to Europe for the holiday makers . Or you could just make a lovely weekend of it and visit all of our lovely coast and countryside .... cottage much bigger than the pictures. After all.... We are known as the "Garden of England ". Guest rate for 2 people, is for 1 bedroom only . If you require 2 bedrooms for 2 guests then there will be an extra charge of £15.
