Smoko Sanctuary

Enjoy this 40 acre sanctuary of riparian forest, cradled by Smoko and Homeward Bound Creeks. A harbour for Blue gum, Manna, Mountain and Swamp gum in the wet gullies, and drooping Sheoaks and Peppermints on the dry faces. You will see that the cabin is nestled amongst the north east border of ‘Smoko Bowl’ - a natural unique catchment feature, offering harbour to flora and fauna. Take some time out with your pets, and enjoy the forest, or use as a launching platform for MTB, hikes and adventures.

Beaunart cabin

Our cosy private solar powered cabin is set on our farm in the picturesque Kiewa Valley. Close to snow fields, the Hume Weir, Kiewa River, and gourmet food and wine regions. Everything you need for a relaxing weekend away from life's hustle and bustle! We have gas stove and heating and the shower is run with a solar powered gas heating system . There is also a solar powered fridge in the cabin for guests and we have a phone charger above the fridge available. Sunsets and star gazing are perfect

We are 5 minutes’ drive off the Hume Highway, and 20 minutes’ drive up the Hume to Wodonga/Albury. Come and enjoy our piece of paradise, relax on the deck after exploring our wonderful region with a glass of our regions wine.

Cortes Cabin

Welcome to ‘Cortes Stays’. Newly built off-grid cabin nestled by the Ovens River on our 100 year old Walnut Grove. Bathe outside in the outdoor bath, or use the purpose built steps that will take you down to the river's edge. Wander around the farm and over to another swimming spot, where you’ll find kayaks and a canoe for you to use. A large window at the end of the bed allows you to stargaze at night or watch the water flow by as you rest and charge your batteries.

Sit back, relax and enjoy nature literally on the doorstep and epic valley views or make this your perfect base for fishing, rafting, walking, mountain biking and even skiing in the winter (or all of the above!). The Cattlemans at Avalon dates back to the Beveridges Cattle Co-Op in the 1930's when the high country cattlemen would bunker down for the snowy winters and graze cattle on the green valley pastures. A cosy bungalow with a private courtyard, it is in the centre of town walking distance to Cafes, Parks, Rivers, Pubs and all Harrietville has to offer.
