17th Century Mountain Farm Barn at Perthi

Part of Perthi Holiday Cottages, Ty Hebog is a characterful Grade II 17th-century barn on our working mountain farm above Beddgelert. With original beams and a cosy log burner, it offers a warm retreat. Perfect for couples and hikers, we’re 7 mins from the Rhyd Ddu Snowdon path, with rugged mountain trails starting from your door. Walking from the door leads you to an old drovers track, or higher up through bilberry scrub to Cnicht, the Welsh Matterhorn, or along lanes and paths to secluded swimming spots in rivers and lakes.

Here is our newly completed shepherds Hut -Gwenlli a welsh name that depicts the view of Bardsey Island on the horizon. Situated in a peaceful corner of our field, nestled in the hills above the small village of Talybont in Snowdonia. Overlooking cardigan bay and boasting panaramic views from the Snowdon mountain range in the north to witnessing a memorable sunset over the Lleyn peninsula with a drink in your hand whilst relaxing in the easy to use electric jacuzzi hot tub.
