Mill House - Villa on Forgotten World Highway

This lovely villa was built in the early 1900’s by the McCluggage Family, who operated sawmills in the area. Their endeavors included the construction of a tunnel, in 1924, at the rear of the property to provide access to timber on the Whangamomona Saddle where it still remains today. Mill House is a fully furnished, four bedroom/one bathroom home that comfortably sleeps eight. Whether you are travelling through or looking to getaway, Mill House can provide you with tranquility and relaxation.

Our 1950s-style family bach has everything you need for a comfortable stay in Mōkau, year-round. Though "retro" in style, we pride ourselves on keeping it clean, tidy, and well-maintained. We welcome you to our relaxed and peaceful accommodation, 2km from the main street in Te Kūiti. We are a working farm, where we live onsite with our family, and have accommodation to share with you. The accommodation is set amongst our home and main gardens. Stay here to experience the beauty of rural New Zealand living, with stunning views, yet being located close to town. The spacious deck and outdoor lounge allow you to spread out and make yourself at home.

The Tree House with hot tub @ Wood Pigeon Lodge

The Tree House is set on a small hill in the tree tops, requiring being able to climb multiple steps for access through the bush. At the top you receive stunning views of the surrounding forest. This eco house generates its own electricity and is designed to capture the sun. The two person wood fired hot tub is the perfect way to relax after a day skiing or climbing the Tongariro Crossing.

The Silk Tree Studio (Nr. Waitomo Caves)

Time to relax in a peaceful quiet location with beautiful views. A very spacious self-contained studio, set amongst gardens of the main house with young dairy stock all around. Light breakfast included, Toast, Spreads, Yogurt, Orange Juice, Fresh Milk, and Cereals. Sit in your private spa pool after a busy day and watch the sun go down and the stars in the evening, they are so clear.

Bird-Song Studio

Quiet, cute relaxing getaway at the beautiful Urenui. Situated in the village with a two-minute walk to the river and 15 minute walk to the main beach. The property backs onto a native nature reserve, songs from the native birds are heard all year round. Situated next to the main house where my husband and I live with our 2 children.
