The rustic river front updated cabin has 300 feet of river frontage, fenced yard (except the riverfront). Rear deck has a hot tub, beautiful majestic view of the river. The river has heavy tidal flow (no river use from home). The Hoquiam River support runs of Chinook, chum, and coho salmon, steelhead, and sea-run trout. just a couple of miles upriver from Historic Downtown Hoquiam restaurants, stores and shops, 20 min to coast 45 min drive to Lake Quinault hiking trails South Shore Trailhead.

With adult and kids kayaks, a rowboat, paddleboat, and canoe we have lots of options to get out and explore the lake. Or take a dip off the private dock when the weather is warm.

The cottage and companion pirate ship tree house are steps from the shore where you can enjoy swimming, kayaking, and leisurely beach walks. The exceptional Gardens give the impression we are miles away from the city, but all services are within 2 miles. Just a mile off the freeway, its easy access to the salt water, walking paths & parks, restaurants, museums, stores. Only a couple hours(or less) to Rainier & Olympic National parks, the ocean, zoo, wildlife parks.

Quinault Cove- Canner’s Cottage

Canners Cottage will be your perfect home base for exploring the lush Quinault Rainforest and Southern half of the Olympic National Park. Enjoy walking the temperate forest on surrounding trails while having the opportunity to see elk, bald eagles, and otters. Adventure the Enchanted Valley from Graves Creek into the home of over 1,000 waterfalls or enjoy a relaxing day reading by the lake. The Kalaloch Beaches(located 35 minutes away) make for a great day trip exploring tide pools!

Lake Quinault Cottage Cove~Relax on the Shore

Cottage Cove is located on the North shore of beautiful Lake Quinault in the boundaries of the Olympic National Park, surrounded by mountains, forest and water. Cottage Cove is completely furnished, including BBQ grill and fire pit. Hiking, Swimming, fishing are recommended and Kayaks are available for your use. Food and people are all you need. We do have starlink internet that works great! unless we have an unexpected power outage.
