Excellent views from our cheerful house by the sea

Our quaint, cosy house in Ferryden offers a wonderful holiday or short break experience for 2-4 people. The views from the house are stunning, ideally located just 15 steps from a small beach, or a short walk to the lighthouse. There's a village pub closeby, a good bus service and only a 20 -30 minute walk to Montrose where you'll find excellent restaurants and pubs, cinema, and a train station. There are so many things to do in the area including walking, fishing, photography, bird watching.

Harbour Cottage has been recently refurbished and is set in the tranquil and scenic village of Johnshaven in the North East of Scotland. House is situated at the harbour front close to all amenities within village. The nearby restaurant/pub serves excellent food including locally sourced seafood. Many scenic walks both locally and in the area. Wildlife in abundance and Nature Reserve at St Cyrus worthy of visit. Golf,tennis,swimming,etc are nearby. Wonderful sandy beaches nearby

It is a tranquil place with fantastic sea views to Montrose in the south and Stonehaven in the north. This cosy cottage faces the sea and gets the morning sun. The village has a pub that serves food. A great place for walks and cycle routes. For the more adventurist cyclist we have Aberdeenshire's only purpose built Mountain Bike Trail Center, only a short ride away. In the nearby village of Tarland,there is a 9-hole course for the golf enthusiast.
