1880s Miner’s Cottage in Moonta Mines – Heritage

Step back in time at this 1880s miner’s cottage in historic Moonta Mines. Built over 140 years ago and extended in the early 1900s by the man who built many Yorke Peninsula roads, it still features the dining room, kitchen and bathroom he added. Lovingly owned for 12+ years and renovated twice, the cottage blends original stone walls and low doorways with modern comforts, a cozy wood fire, a well-equipped indoor & outdoor kitchen, and a big backyard perfect for BBQs under the dark night stars.

Only 150m to the beach, with beach access on our street. Short walk to jetty and splash park Main house is 3 bedrooms, sleeping 7 guests. Mini house is 2 bedrooms sleeping 5 guests. Both having their own kitchen and bathroom. Large outdoor area with cubby house and great lawn space.Our table tennis table is also a fan favourite

Maldon is one of Wallaroo's old lime stone & granite cottages. A privately owned cottage so centerally located you can leave your car and walk to almost everything & has just undergone a total revitalization right through out in refeashing and family friendly decor. The back yard bosts has an awesome Alfrasco BBQ area nestled amongst the old stone fence and paved with old red bricks where you can comfortably seat 10 secluded in the large fully lawned surrounds. Many extras at no extra cost.
