A cosy mid-terraced fishermans cottage, now with a wood burner, located only 1 minute walking distance to the gorgeous Shandwick beach. Ideal for a peaceful seaside holiday retreat. Shandwick is one of three small coastal communities that along with Balintore and Hilton that make up the seaboard villages. Logs: we provide a bag of logs for each stay per week.If you require extra logs, I can provide contact details of logs providers locally. Well behaved (not too large) dogs also welcome.

Kimberley House, Findhorn

This period cottage has plenty of character with exposed stone features and beams, and wood burners for cosy evenings in.

Relax at this unique getaway in the small seaside town of Fortrose. The accommodation has its own private balcony and boasts stunning views of Fortrose harbour and across the Moray Firth. Chanonry Point, the best place for dolphin watching in Britain, is only a 20 min walk. Close to the popular NC500 route, it is ideal for a romantic break for two. The wood burning stove will keep you cosy on colder nights. There is so much to explore in the area, two nights may not be enough!

River Cottage was built in 1850 as a fisherman’s cottage. With panoramic views of the castle, the River Ness and the hills beyond, River Cottage offers beautiful, relaxing self catering accommodation in Inverness. The cottage is located on a quiet residential street within a five minute walk of delicious restaurants and quirky shops and is ten minutes down the river from Eden Court, which stages live performing arts and musical events and screens both blockbuster and indie films.

Riverside Hideaway is a quirky above our garage conversion. It is Modern with a light, fresh feel. Located up a short track on the bank of the River Spey. Watching the Ospreys, hundreds of miles of forest tracks and cycle ways to explore, snow sports in the Cairngorms, paddling to Loch Insh or down the Spey the options are endless. It’s quiet, peaceful and relaxing but with excitement and exhilaration of outdoor pursuits all around.
