There is real peace and quiet and a cosy wood burner if you want to just curl up and relax!

The Boat Shed

The Boat Shed nestles under a large ancient Monterey Pine at the bottom of our garden in the beautiful village of Findhorn. Less than two minutes from Findhorn Bay and a ten minute walk to the beach on the Moray Firth. Guests have their own access and sole use of the Boat Shed. Just a short walk to local pubs, restaurants, cafes, shop and Marina. Perfect for a short break or holiday. It’s the perfect location to explore both the East & West side of the Cairngorms National Park and to enjoy lots of activities such as biking, wildlife watching, snowsports, fishing & watersports and, we are right on the edge of the Tomintoul & Glenlivet Dark Sky Park - perfect for stargazing!

McFarlane Lodge has an open planned lounge and dinning area. The comfortable lounge includes a wood burning stove, SmartTV and a large dining table. The kitchen includes dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, microwave, Dolce Gusto coffee machine and a fridge/freezer. There are two bedrooms, one contains a double bed. The second room contains two queen beds. Towels are provided.
