Studio cabin with loft and new kitchen on Echo Lake in Acadia. Sleeps 5 (KING loft, QUEEN convertible couch, and SINGLE fold-out twin bed). Pack-in/Pack-out everything - camping approach and BYO (Bring Your Own) everything: pillows, blankets, sheets, towels, & paper products. Sunsets, Lake Views, and Loons abound!

Rustic Manset Tiny House

Experience living tiny in this lovingly built small scale space that includes everything you need for a cozy getaway. Return from a day of hiking in Acadia National Park to soak in the clawfoot tub or relax on the tiny deck, with a glimpse of the ocean. This 20ft x 8ft tiny home is situated in a backyard, a short walk from Manset Town Dock and Peter Trout Tavern, and a five-minute drive from Southwest Harbor and parts of Acadia National Park (about 20 min to longer hikes and the loop road).

Old Acadia Ranger Yurt at Long Pond

Newly Constructed. Old Acadia Ranger Yurt, a 25 ft. Yurt nestled in the pine and maple forest 1/4 mile from Long Pond and Acadia National Park hiking trails. New construction includes a full bath with a large walk-in shower, kitchen with gas stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator, dinette table w/ seating. Bedding includes, 1 Queen sized bed, 1-fold down double couch, Queen bed in loft, and 1 rollaway cot. Towels and bedding provided. Four (4) guests only (no exceptions). Pets are not permitted.

The Arthaus, an eclectic retreat for two

Located on Mount Desert Islands, "Quietside". The cottage features high ceilings and an open floor plan, with a small deck looking into the woods The walls are decorated with original art work by the owner. Our location is central to the island, situated just outside the village of Somesville; 15 minutes to Bar Harbor, 10 minutes to Southwest Harbor by car. Hiking and swimming opportunities are just 5 minutes away by car. The Arthaus is not suitable for pets, despite our love for them.

Between Bar Harbor and Seal Harbor, 10 minutes by car to both and just 5 minutes by car to the Otter Cliff entrance to Acadia Park Loop Road. Walk to the Causeway via the Grover Path in 15 minutes. 5-minute walk to the Cadillac South Ridge Trail. Large high-ceiling studio with private parking and entrance with beautiful sheltered second-story deck. We are on the Blackwoods/Bar Harbor bus route so you can catch the free Island Explorer LL Bean buses to Bar Harbor and back.

Screened in front porch on water side with access to the lake (~300 feet through the woods) and private use of the dock. One and a half bathrooms. Perfect spot for a quiet staycation on Mt Desert Island. Listen to the loons on the lake in the evening, the wind rustling through leaves. Secluded wooded location. Only three houses on this ten acre family parcel.

We request anyone who stays on our property be fully vaccinated. Thank you for helping to keep our community healthy! This stand along cottage is on the same property as owner's home and includes 1 parking space. 2 bedrooms with full bath, laundry, and a fully stocked kitchen. House abuts Acadia National Park; Seal Harbor Beach and carriage roads are easy walking or biking distance! Only 12 minutes to Bar Harbor and 5 to Northeast Harbor.
