The Little Lodge is located on a 7 acre gated estate in a wooded bedroom community south of the Village of Folsom. The lodge is on the property beside the main house facing an one acre horse paddock and overlooking a 3 acre pond, dock and gazebo. We are horse friendly. Attractions nearby include; Global Wildlife Center, an Alligator farm, the Bogue Chitto State Park, old town of Covington with antique shops, art galleries, and fine dining. We are only 45 miles from Downtown New Orleans. l

Enjoy the picturesque view at Over the Moon Farm, a bustling horse farm situated in the middle of 30 acres in Covington, LA north of New Orleans. A short drive from the farm will take you to Abita Springs, a quaint town with restaurants and the Abita Brewery, Old Covington filled with local shops and restaurants and several horse facilities nearby. We enjoyed designing this guest house and hope you find it a rejuvenating space. The cabin is great for a refreshing weekend getaway, a home base for traveling workers or home-away-from home while visiting in the area.
