Casa do Rio Alva is a very special place with private access to the river! Our country house is located in the village of Secarias in the heart of the nature of central Portugal, 4 km from the village of Arganil and 55 km from the city of Coimbra. Exploring the Alva River from our home is a unique experience, where the following stand out: avocets, bees, kingfishers, crows, swallows, foxes, field mice, frogs, toads and snakes, numerous fish such as bass, bogas and carp, but also trout and eels.

Historic Quinta Estate with Pool & Mountain views

A former Adega grape press has been transformed into a beautiful family home with a private outdoor terrace, garden & BBQ within a stunning historic Quinta estate including swimming pool, gardens and cascading olive orchards. It's a 10min walk through the village to the river with beaches and a café whilst charming Coja town is a 5min drive and includes several restaurants, cafes, bakeries, bank. A multitude of historic sights and outdoor activities are catered for in the surrounding area.

O Cantinho nas Secarias é um alojamento local, junto ao Rio Alva, e a natural e única Praia Fluvial da Cascalheira, rodeado de uma extraordinária beleza, onde o som dos pássaros é a melodia predominante. A casa está dividida em duas partes totalmente independentes, uma das quais é habitada pelo proprietário. É um espaço aberto com camas, sala e lareira, uma casa de banho e cozinha. O exterior é grande com jardim; churrasqueia; mesa e cadeiras; baloiço; pequena horta e jardim.

Hey Everybody! We are happy to invite you to stay in our Cozy TinyHouse! Come and enjoy the green and virgin nature of the countryside of Central Portugal. Wake up to the sound of birds singing and sunlight streaming through the windows. We are surrounded with many swimming spots and river beaches about 10-15 minutes drive! The space is also suitable for 3 adults and 1 child, or 2 adults and 2 children. The sofa is opening for a bed and i can supply bed sheets and blankets.

The bright Wooden Zen House is located in the bamboo garden connecting with nature and the inner soul. This guest home and surrounding make an ideal space for those needing a deeper contemplative state for creativity and recovering, or just a place to get away from the stress of a fast paced world. It is perfect for couples and solo adventurers who seek something special, and are attracted by simplicity and originality. On request we prepare a vegan/vegetarian breakfast.

The house is located in the Mondego River Valley on walking distance of a beautifull isolated riverbeach. A great place to get away from the stressed world. Excellent for a couple or an individual who loves the simplicity, purity and silence of nature. The house includes an open kitchen and living room, a 11 m2 mezanine for sleeping, an outside shower, compost toilet in a 5000 m2 forest garden with granit boulders, natural structures, sculptures and chillout places.

Canna Bothy is located in the village of Mouronho. It is a family and pet friendly, fully fenced, detached property with parking, garden and pool. Come and get to know us in this unique and beautiful area of Central Portugal. Relax, enjoy the tranquility and immerse yourself in nature. Explore the many walking trails. Enjoy the river beaches and visit places of historic interest and natural beauty. Indulge in the quality of our gastronomy, wines and local produce.

Cozy Garden hut

Enjoy a stay in our garden hut—a simple, minimalist space with WiFi (optional) and electricity via an extension cable. Perfect for a quiet getaway or as a digital workspace. Our house is on the same property, with two more guest rooms, a shared kitchen, bathroom, and a dry composting toilet in the garden. We provide a mosquito net in summer and an electric heater in winter.

A schist private building , a clean and light double bedroom spacious shower room and an outdoor covered kitchen with stunning views in the heart of a valley, the land has access to a sparkling river and a dipping pool. The property is a few meters from a schist path that leads to the nearby village of Benfeita via a stunning 15minutes walk.
