The house is in walking distance to Smartno one of the region's most appealing historic small towns.

The 72-square-kilometer (28 mile) wine region of Brda sits along the Italian border and 50km southern of Austrian border, has been described as a "mini Tuscany" -- even the cuisine is influenced by Italy. An hour's drive from Slovenian capital Ljubljana and an hour's drive from Venice.
