Kominka on the Yoshino River | Kochi, Rural Japan

This is not a hotel. This is rural Japan. Garbanzo House is a private traditional kominka near the Yoshino River in Kochi. Only one group per day. The river is a 5-minute walk away. A small rural train line runs beside the house, and sometimes a local train passes by. At night, it becomes very quiet and the sky fills with stars. There is no TV. Listen to the river, birds, and insects, and experience the rhythm of rural Japan.
