The setting is situated in an unspoilt coastal nature reserve on the West Coast of South Africa. Guests will have the choice of camping in 4 dome tents, sleep 8 (strechers & matrasses), kitchenette, shower, toilet. You will have access to 4, 5 kms of private beach to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the unique setting. Activities to enjoy are wine tasting, bird watching, surfing, fishing, or dining out at the various seafood restaurants in and around Lamberts Bay, Elands Bay and Doring Bay.

Thornbay Accommodation is the prime accommodation in Doringbaai, a small town in Southern Namaqualand, West Coast of South Africa. All our apartments are individual and are fully equipped for self catering. (Just bring your beach towel, your food and toiletries). Seester cottage has one bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, with a shower, and a separate open plan fully equipped kitchen -living area. It also has an undercover stoep with a braai overlooking the beach which is not more than 50 metres away. There is a TV with selected channels, DStv Business package.

Ouma See has got an unlimited sea view from every window and sliding door (except from the bathroom). Lovely patio with braai facilities. Just across the street from the beach. Within walking distance from shops, museum, etc. Inside fireplace for colder evenings and very comfortable beds.
