My Sunshine on the Bay

"My Sunshine on the Bay" is a beautifully restored cottage built between 1940 and 1950. The home was well maintained through the years which kept most of its original features intact. It's located in a quiet community on Pierre Part Bay just 2 minutes from Lake Verret. Great area for all water sports and fishing ! There is a boat launch and bait shop steps away,. Relax on the swing by the bay and watch eagles, pelicans and other wildlife feeding nearby or bring your bike and tour the area.

Beautiful high-rise cabin, with wrap around porch, overlooking the Amite River! Perfect for a romantic getaway, family fishing trip or gathering friends for some fun on the river. This is a re modeled 14 x65 mobile home. 2 bedrooms (queen beds) 1 bath . Screened in patio with ceiling fans , with deck over historic Bayou Pierre part. Fish from the rear deck and clean fish at the on site cleaning station. . 2 wood swings and a park style charcoal grill.

The Blue Heron Guest House-6 acres on the bayou.

Take it easy at this unique getaway. Located on Bayou Manchac on a gated 6 acre estate. The Blue Heron Guest House is a great place to just get away, enjoy nature, canoe (provided), fish the pond or the bayou, birdwatching (lots of birds), etc. The property does have a boat slip and a small boat launch for those who want to explore the area by boat. Bayou Manchac connects to the Amite River nearby. We can’t wait to share our paradise with you!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Located on a canal off of Belle River. It's a 3 bedroom 2 bath home. The home has 2 beds and 2 couches for guests. The 3rd bedroom is open for storage or an air matress can be used. There's a fish cleaning station and boat slip. Access to Belle River from the canal as well as fishing off the pier. Boat launch within 5 minutes of home.

The home features a huge back porch overlooking the bayou to do some birdwatching. The center hall allows for a nice breeze. There’s a queen bed and claw foot tub downstairs, two full beds and bathroom upstairs.
