Enjoy hands-on cooking with organic rice and vegetables from our farm. Relax in a wood-fired bath, and in the morning experience a Japanese tea ceremony surrounded by nature. A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!

Our house is traditional Japanese style house. 150 years old and in a very quiet location. We are renting house. Not shared with other guests. There are 2 bedrooms(Tatami-room) and 1 living room, gameroom, bathroom, shower toilet, all of the room are only for you. *Children is free of charge if your children don't need a bed and break fast. There are air conditioners in bedroom and livingroom.

こんにちは。西村邸へようこそ。主宰の杉本雄太です。 西村邸は、築110年以上の伝統的な奈良町屋です。ぼく自身が子どもの頃、長い時間を過ごした「おばあちゃんち」を改修して2019年に宿としてオープンしました。奈良町屋のありのままの姿を残しているので不便も多く、すべてが揃うような豪奢なホテルではありません。 　そのかわり、奈良町に漂う「心地よいひなび」に浸るにはこれ以上ない場所だと考えています。駅前の喧騒をはなれた環境で「内省と回復」の手助けになればとの思いで、お部屋の書籍やベジタリアンスタイルの朝食を用意しています。（お部屋の書籍は、ほぼ全てご購入いただけます。） 　どうぞ今夜は、西村邸と奈良町の静けさの中で、ご自身の心の声に耳を澄ませながらお過ごしください。
