7 Arches Holiday Accommodation

7 Arches holiday accommodation was completely refurbished in July 2019. Benefits from stunning views over the Afan Valley and located on the Afan Forest Park's low level cycle route 'Y Rheilffordd' (railway in welsh) which runs along the base of the valley. This is a great trail for families with picnic and refreshment stops along the 36km trail. 'Y Rheilffordd' gives easy access to 6 world class trails as well as Afan Forest Park Visitor Centre, Glyncorrwg Visitor Centre and Afan Bike Park.

The accommodation is a self contained en-suite accommodation in a quiet semi rural location. It has a large private balcony to the rear of the property which is a perfect sun trap overlooking ancient woodland . Here you can relax while listening to the sound of the water running in the brook below. There is also a separate private patio area on the ground floor for al-fresco dining together with a BBQ for guests use. There is secure storage for cycles and other equipment on the ground floor.

Built in the 1700s beside the river, this cosy little cottage is full of rustic character. Expect a warm welsh welcome both at the cottage and from the friendly village. Take a bracing wild water dip! Ideally situated for walkers and wildlife lovers 7 miles from the Brecon Beacons N P and 19 miles from Gower’s stunning beaches. A stylishly rustic annexe furnished with a considered collection of vintage pieces and set in it's own secluded valley, twenty minutes stroll away from the majestic Three Cliffs Bay. The property comfortably sleeps four, has delightful gardens and oozes charm and character. Village amenities such as an artisan bakery, independent shop/ cafe and heritage centre are all within a three or four minute walk.

Situated in a quiet, semi-rural village is this charming, three-bedroom holiday home. On road parking for two cars, tastefully-presented interiors, and a spacious outdoor garden with seating and private hot tub. When it's time to relax, wind down in the sitting area, which is kept warm and toasty by a woodburning stove. When you're ready for some activity, head into Afan Forest Park, which houses a plethora of wonderful circular walks and bike trails and a local pub/restaurant.

No 1 Cathelyd Colliery Stables is a dog friendly property renovated from a pit pony stables. Next door, No 2 is slightly larger and can be booked separately on Airbnb. There are walks on the doorstep being next to the Cwm Clydach bird reserve and the cottage has its own private valley walk with a waterfall. We are situated 3 miles from J45 of the M4 with easy access to Swansea, Gower and the Brecon Beacons. The Swansea Cycle path is on the doorstep. The town is a mile away.
