Kalappura Houseboats

Our Houseboat is a traditional Kerala houseboat made of Wooden Barge and palm leaves & it includes all kind of modern amenities. The boat is deliberately built in a small size which allows you to easily navigate through the tantalizing narrow canals and backwater villages of Alappuzha. We operate different cruise packages & for upgraded packages we anchor on a lonely lake at night so that you can see the sunset and sunrise over the lake and spend the night on our boat in a quiet village area.

The Backwater Rhapsody, Alleppey

The Backwater Rhapsody is a private villa on the banks of Vembanad lake with expansive views of the lake and Pathiramanal Island. We have two types of rooms; 4 Standard Rooms & 1 Suite Room with king bed (All air conditioned) An idyllic oasis where guests can relax in the common garden or sit outs and enjoy the waterfront with their families away from the bustle of their busy schedules. The property is about 250 Meters away from the ‘Kayipuram’ boat Jetty about 15 mins from Alappuzha town.

Easy access to Alappuzha beach, Railway Station and bus station, Vembanadu backwaters, lighthouse Alpy, Restaurants CATAMARAN, other all facilities are available nearby surrounding areas.

Anju's mouth watering dishes coupled with pappy's insight and organic knowledge sets the pace for the stay here. Fresh fish & seafood are available at our backyard. Boat cruising, cycling, fishing, barbecue, campfire etc are there. the beautiful marari beach & chethy beach are very close to our place. The atmosphere is pleasant, silent and good flow of breeze are here.
