We remodeled this cabin with the goal to create a space where you can reconnect with nature while simultaneously indulging in pure comfort. It's a space designed to inspire, and to revitalize your mind, body and spirit - A place where you can chop wood, take a walk, light a fire, sit and relax under the stars, or enjoy a hot tub, cold plunge, or Finnish-style handmade sauna - We welcome you to The Little Black Cabin.

Cozy Lakefront Getaway on Ag-Mar Lake

Lakefront property on Ag-Mar Lake, 3BR, 2BA, plus bonus loft with 2 full beds perfect for kids. Come experience all that our waterfront home has to offer near hiking, biking, skiing, rafting, and more. Spend the day fishing from our private dock and venturing out on one of our 4 boats. Take in views of the lake from our deck and enjoy beautiful sunsets while making s'mores in our firepit. Gather the family for a movie night around our 60-inch tv. End the day by soaking in the private hot tub.

Creekside Cabin - Creek, Pond & Indoor Fireplace

Enjoy our cozy two bedroom rustic cabin that sits a few feet from a flowing creek, and a relaxing pond. The cabin was originally built as a one room hunting cabin with knotty pine walls, wood ceiling and large stone fireplace. The addition of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and laundry converted the cabin into a comfortable home, while maintaining the original charm and character. The original hunting cabin space is now the great room, with the kitchen on one side and the family room on the other.

We are a short driving distance to all local restaurants, hiking/biking trails, kayaking, and shops. Access to the pool and a private patio are included in the price of the rental. No parties allowed.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful home located in the mountains. The lake is 1 mile from the home with membership access. You will have the feel of being secluded in your own part of the wooded Pocono mountains but be close to the action. Swim, hike, fish, and bike the area. The downtown of Jim Thorpe (about 10 minutes away) has many local attractions from historic to outdoor adventures. We have a Level 2 electric car charging outlet for guests to use.

Winter brings skiing, boarding and tubing, while warmer seasons offer mountain biking, trail running, adventure races, ropes courses, and frequently events (Octoberfest, spartan race). Rent for the summer while the kids enjoy Blue Mountain daycamp. Hike the Appalachian trail, visit vineyards or stay home and enjoy the firepit, games room and hot-tub.
