Tucked along a quiet dirt road, the cabin is ideally located 15 minutes from South Haven and 10 minutes from St. Joseph making it close enough for dining, shopping, and activities, yet far enough to unwind in nature’s calm.

Located about 10 minutes south of downtown St. Joe, our Idyllic A-frame is a perfect location for the escape to SW Michigan that you've been dreaming about.

Our newly built home is located in the heart of Union Pier - one block to the downtown and a 10 min walk to the closest beach! Stroll out the door for your morning coffee/pastry at Black Currant Bakehouse. Grab your beach rentals at Red Arrow Ride, groceries at Union Pier Market, and unwind with live music at Union Pier Social or a beer at Seedz. Spend a lazy day at the beach or head out to explore the area - there's no limit to amazing breweries, wineries, and restaurants!

Morton's Retreat Cozy 1 Bedroom Apartment

Cozy comfort close to Michigan's most popular state park, breweries, wineries, antique malls and farm-to-table restaurants. Morton's Retreat has plenty of room to relax. Charcoal grill and fire pit (shared with Morton’s other retreat) for use in a spacious yard. Private entrance with keyless entry makes check-in a breeze. One other Airbnb located next door in same building. Two complimentary local beers, seltzer water and a snack are provided to help kick off your stay.
