Red Dog Retreat is settled back from the road amongst the trees. 2.75 mi directly up the hill from downtown Broad St. A 7min easy drive to Historic Downtown Nevada City & 15mins to the Yuba River. Walking and biking trails are steps away from our property and we are a short drive to Scott's Flat Reservoir. Bring your boats, bikes & kayaks! Grill and sit around the fire pit on our wrap around deck. We love our peaceful home and look forward to sharing it with guests from all backgrounds.

Welcome to a comfortable and rejuvenating sanctuary one block from Main Street in downtown Grass Valley. You have the whole main house. This includes 3 bedrooms, a spacious living room with fire place, dining room with large family table, fully stocked kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, laundry, and shared hot tub. From the house easily stroll around downtown Grass Valley to enjoy unique restaurants, shops, and shows. Come home to your private, freshly updated, 150 year old historic home.

Centrally located between Nevada City and Grass Valley - only 5 minutes to each downtown. This beautifully remodeled home features a large screened in porch, a tranquil pond with waterfall fountain and a spectacular setting surrounded by tall trees and offering lovely views. The space is private, quiet, and comes with all necessities: a full kitchen, ample parking, outdoor seating + coffee! Please note: there is NO PARTYING or outside noise allowed after 9 PM on any night of the week.

Historic Home in Downtown for a Couple or Group

In the heart of historic downtown Oroville, Judge Gray's home (est. 1875), offers four suites (each w/ private bathroom and shower), kitchen, dining room, parlor, office & laundry. A couple or group of eight can enjoy the house while exploring the beauty and history of Butte County. Located 2 blocks from downtown’s unique restaurants, shops and the Feather River. One suite per guest (two guests maximum per suite.) Unbooked suites will be locked to keep the cleaning fee affordable.

Sugarloaf Madrone Studio

Sugarloaf Madrone Studio is tucked into the slope of Sugarloaf Mountain, overlooking the 7 Hills of Nevada City. It is a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk to downtown restaurants, arts, and nightlife. Despite its proximity, you will feel like you are in the country with pastoral views, local parks, and a quiet neighborhood. You will share the house with a totally separate apartment on the ground level. The Madrone Studio is great for rest, relaxation, and being close to nature.

With just less than a 10 min drive to the beautiful crystal blue swimming pools of the Yuba River this will truly be your gateway to relax and unwind or for a fun adventure in the Sierra.

Tranquil Timbers

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene home. Recently updated 1200 sq ft 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home nestled among large pines, cedars and oaks. Located in a gated neighborhood between two quaint gold rush towns with shopping, wine tasting, hiking trails and sight seeing. Ski areas easily accessible for day trips. Rest or dine on the deck with a glass of local wine and watch the friendly deer wander past sometimes stopping to say hello.

Beautiful house close to town and in the trees

Cancellations due to fire or Smokey air -allowed. Fragrance free cleaning products Wood floors, washer/dryer stocked kitchen Central heat. Air conditioning. High end mattresses. The house is off of a main road close to downtown Nevada City but in the tallest trees. There is some car noise during rush hour but none of that can be heard from inside of this very well insulated house. No loud parties. We do host dogs and occasionally cats.
