Our farmyard cottage is located right on the Ridgeway historic walking trail and is beside Barbury Castle. A rural and stunning location, yet only 10 mins from Swindon and M4 Jct 15, and also close to Avebury and the charming market town of Marlborough. Clappers Farm is a 17th century farmhouse located on a quiet country road on the Hampshire/Berkshire border. Set in 35 acres of its own land then surrounded by further farmland, there are various outbuildings mainly used for stabling . Silchester Brook meanders through the property and attracts wildlife from kingfishers and swallows to deer. There is a huge network of picturesque footpaths and cycle routes accessible from the front gate of the farm. Dogs and horses are welcome.
