Loondocks | Lakeside Hideout w/ Sauna

Less than an hour from Minneapolis, the Loondocks is a sun-soaked, pet-friendly hideout on beautiful Big Eagle Lake. Natural stone steps (NOTE: These are uneven, so do not book if you have mobility concerns!) lead down to the bungalow-style house, a stylish bunkhouse, wood-burning sauna, spacious deck with lake views, and flat waterfront yard. Sip coffee and watch the sunrise, lay out a towel at the end of the dock, or share a meal with the whole family! This is the perfect all-season getaway.

Cheerful cabin on Little Waverly

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin. This cabin is on the shore of Little Waverly Lake. There is a public boat launch about a mile from the cabin. Bring your boat, or use our kayaks or paddle boards. Enjoy the lake view while making s'mores around the fire pit. Little Waverly lake is roughly 12' deep with some good fishing. Big Waverly lake is right next door and averages 35' deep. There is not a beach at the cabin, but there is a public beach and park at big Waverly Lake.

We are also 10 miles from Starlite drive-in theatre or check out Litchfield Nature Preserve for a good hike!

I live across the street & clean and sanitize, so I know it is done properly. Note: Optional (additional charge) game room available.

Cast Away Point - Indian Lake - 2 of 2

"This beautiful little cabin sits on the point of the lake water all around you on Indian Lake. Great access to snowmobile trails. This is a small place on a septic system with only 2 vehicle parking." Also 1 door down is another cabin called Cast-Away. Also have a pontoon for rent. Pontoon rental $200 per day with Gas, $50 cleaning fee if not clean. Fish house rental available. Please note docks come out of water labor day weekend each year.

Grandpa's Place borders the 743-acre River Bend Nature Center. This rustic cabin is tucked away on 2 acres on Long Lake. The original log structure dates to 1858 with a new addition built out of repurposed barn wood. Enjoy a quiet retreat or a romantic getaway by the fireplace. Spend some time by the lake enjoying the fresh air and wildlife, or reconnect with family around the table playing games. Our cabin is the perfect place to re-energize and reconnect.
