This camper travelled the Oregon Trail...yep, toured it, AND was featured on a blog...before she was set here-- nestled on the plateau we call Billy Goat Bluff. A "Tiny House" original, your memorable stay includes: friendly animal interactions, morning sunrises from our updated 1959 Dalton "Canned Ham," breathtaking views from the outdoor kitchen, electricity, water and even a hot shower at the hobbit-styled privy.

This peaceful camper sits 2543 ft above sea level for guests to hideaway from the rest of the world. 360-degree views of the majestic Appalachian Mountains allow guests the best of both worlds. Surrounded by wildlife, visitors boast a feeling of peace and calm as soon as they step foot on the land.

A shared backyard gives you room to enjoy the outdoors with backyard games and a firepit available weather permitting for some s'mores. The camper has a master bedroom, smaller bedroom with bunk beds, full bathroom, full kitchen, 2 recliners that can also be used for sleeping, a dining room table that hides away and turns into a full size bed. Lots of activities to enjoy in the area: hiking, biking, etc.

We are a 5 minute drive from the New River Trail State Park, where you can hike, bike or walk along the river!

Vintage Camper on the River is a completely remodeled tiny space set up under a shelter on a private wooded lot with river access to the Ararat River.. It has full hook ups with running water, power, and heat/AC. Along with tiny living, this listing also features an outdoor experience with a firepit, sitting area, and charcoal grill. We are very close to downtown Mount Airy and all the attractions it has to offer!!
