This small cabin has recently been re-built with new pine paneled walls and ceiling, bunk beds, carpeting, electricity, a new Eco-outhouse!, solar shower and It is located at the edge of a field about 100 yards from our home. It is a perfect base camp for hikers 12 miles south of Franconia notch trail heads and Appalachian Trail crossing. The cabin is most often used by hikers who want a base camp near many of the most popular hiking trails near Franconia Notch. It is a peaceful and quiet place.

The Back 80 Yurt

Is a spacious 24 foot Yurt next to Mt Cardigan state park. From the Yurt you can hike ,snow shoe or backcountry ski on miles of well marked AMC trails , as well as climb Firescrew and Mt Cardigan. This is the only off-grid Yurt acessable to the AMC state park. This is not a drive up, in the winter prepare to hike 1 mile, and in the summer 300 yards up a windy forest path. The Yurt has everything you will want from a wood stove , cook stoves. We have raised the price for plowing cost

Cozy 1950's vintage camper has been lovingly restored, has running water, electricity, gas cook top, ice box. Enjoy a campfire, look out over the pastures, fish pond and gardens. Hike right from our yard to the top of Bear Mountain. Hang out with our goats, donkeys, and chickens, walk around our large vegetable gardens, harvest what you like, pick blueberries and raspberries. Guests are welcome to participate in chores and gardening. Firewood, eggs and homemade bread are provided.

Air conditioned 1000 square foot, light filled studio with full kitchen and private bath in secluded rural setting 5 minutes from I 93 and in between Newfound and Squam Lakes. Ample private parking, private entrance, outdoor lawn with perennial gardens with dining table, chairs and grill. Covered front porch with seating. A stream runs through the property with trails alongside of it. Dogs love this place!
