Cosy Cornish Woodland Retreat

Escape reality in this thoughtfully converted Woodland retreat, in the renowned and secluded 40 acre Pendarves bluebell woods. Near the historic mining town of Camborne, we are a short 20 minute walk from the mainline train station (6 by taxi). A plentiful supply of local attractions, reached most easily by those with their own vehicle. St Ives (13 miles), Falmouth (15 miles), Penzance (20 miles). Sadly we do not allow pets and due to the nature of the site, it is not wheelchair friendly.

Safari Cornwall, Horse Lorry conversion & hot tub

Big Blue has a modern feel to the conversion, from her working life as a 7.5 tonne horse lorry to a unique and memorable place to stay. Big Blue has incredible graffiti art on her side and is parked up in her own young Orchard over looking a stunning valley view. Adjoining Big Blue is your own private wood burning hot tub and Bertha the shower trailer, which offers a view as you shower. A handy perk is that Big Blue has an ensuite loo so there is no need to dash out in the middle of the night.

The coastal path is only a short walk from the campsite, offering spectacular hikes with amazing views.

The Arc is located in a beautiful private meadow surrounded by trees not far from Gwithian Beach, Godrevy Lighthouse and St Ives. The Arc, a beautiful eco hut, offers everything you will need, complete with a wet room, kitchen and snug mezzanine double bed. The private outdoor space is perfect for sitting and relaxing after a day out exploring, and when the sun goes down, you can cosy up next to the wood burner—ideal for couples looking for a quiet relaxing base for exploring Cornwall.

Zilda the Army Truck

Zilda is a stunning Eastern European Army Truck which has been fully converted into a unique cosy glamping truck here at Rosevidney. She is in our meadow along with two safari tents. You have your own shower in a converted horsebox and a flushing loo, just yards away. Whatever the weather you will be warm and snug as she was built for Siberian winters and is fitted with a lovely small wood burning stove. All bedding is provided as well as pots pans etc We do not provide towels.

Welcome to our adults only camping retreat. This pitch is suitable for a tent or camper van - No caravans, sorry. Serene meadow setting in the Cornish countryside, often with views of our cows grazing. Short walk to the shared facilities. We are a very small campsite and these facilities will be shared by a maximum of 8 guests at one time. Short drive to numerous beautiful coves, bays and beaches. There is a convenient Nisa mini market and bus stops at the top of our lane.

Conveniently located just off the B3302, approximately 3 miles from the Historic town of Helston and a short drive form the charming fishing village of Porthlevan. There’s easy access to the Lizard peninsula and there are many beautiful beaches just a short drive away.
