Enjoy the peaceful beauty of Central Iowa's rolling hills, prairies, and distant forests while staying in our newly constructed barndominium. Take in the sweeping views, singing birds, and diverse wildlife from the front porch. Cozy up inside by the electric fireplace, enjoy a movie on Roku TV, curl up in the reading nook, utilize the portable desk or get competitive while playing board games. The barn is located behind our house. The driveway is shared with lots of parking next to the barn.

Located on the second floor of a downtown building, this space includes a full kitchen, office nook, bathroom, and a large living area with sleeping quarters. Enjoy beautiful downtown views, just steps from the Michael J. Manatt Community Center and Brooklyn Opera House. Centrally located between Des Moines and Iowa City, with easy access to I-80, this is the perfect spot to experience Brooklyn's charm and history.

Leann and I are your hosts and our goal is not only to provide you with a clean and safe environment but also the opportunity to create lasting memories with friends and family. Our home is adjacent to Terrace Hills GC and you will find outdoor deck amenities that you will not find at any other Altoona area daily rental; golf course views, hot tub, and fire pit! Three blocks to downtown Pella, 1 1/2 blocks to West Market Park, 2 blocks to Central football, baseball and softball complex. Just 2 blocks from downtown Newton & less than 35 miles to Des Moines, Grinnell, Pella, & Knoxville, this home is great for long-term stays (by the hospital) for traveling nurses, or short stays for visiting family, a big event, or just need a place to stay you’ll find everything one home. Pets 80 pounds or under are more than welcome for a fee. No extra fees for guests up to 7.

This newly remodeled home is the perfect relaxing getaway from the busy day-to-day life. Perfectly located on Rock Creeks no-wake lake, you'll find yourself only minutes away from Grinnell, Pella, Newton, Marshalltown, and Sully. Known for its fishing, you can also find a beautiful beach for swimming or a picnic on the west shore. Enjoy the trails and start on your 13-mile hike, bike or snowmobile around the lake or rent a boat from the Marina.

Sandstone Creek Barn

Make memories when you vacation by staying in a barn! Connect with rural life and nature at this comfortable escape. Ideal for families, couples, and singles with extra long twin beds in the bedroom and two lofts. Space to roam with 2+ miles of nature trails. Or relax with table and board games. The stairs into the lofts are steep. Someone with walking or climbing issues might have trouble. (The hosts are both 76 and have no trouble.)
