Please read our listing carefully. Birdsong is a Safe and Secure property in a rural setting on five acres of paddocks, livestock, and mature trees that attract our Native Birds. There is NO SULFUR SMELL! We are 15 mins from Rotorua Central, Thermal pools, Bike tracks, Forest walks, Gondola, Luge and Zip Line are all close by. Our location is perfect for Day Trips to Hobbiton, and Taupo. Fly Fishing for Trout is just 200 meters across the road, (Ngongotaha Stream). There is storage for Bikes.

Welcome to our peaceful self-contained cottage, beautiful country views, private tree-lined estate on edge of town. Cottage has 1 bedroom, queen bed, separate bathroom, walk in wardrobe, kitchen/dining/lounge area, private deck overlooking farmland. Daily bathroom cleaning/towel service provided, we respect that some guests may want total privacy and may prefer not to have this service.

Your hosts are Barbara and Phillip, semi-retired and we are happy to share the downstairs unit. It is independent of us with a parking space and a side entrance. As the unit is downstairs you can hear us walking around if we are home. Earplugs may be required for complete quiet. We are located in a lovely, well-appointed suburb of Rotorua only a 10-minute drive to the centre of town. Rotorua has a lot to offer whether you are on a budget or not.
