Rata Karaka Bach on the Estuary

Relax and unwind at this wonderfully inviting well appointed two bedroom Bach across the road from the crystal clear waters of the Ngunguru Estuary. Stunning views of the estuary out the front and mountain ranges out the back with the added bonus of river access from the spacious back yard. Enjoy a morning cuppa or evening meal on the large rear patio overlooking the rear garden. Only a minutes walk to the local cafe, dairy, takeaways or the Estuary Bistro restaurant at the sports complex.

Waiotoi - The Bush Hideaway - Tutukaka

Enjoy the tranquil and serene environment of the bush, which provides you with a stay that is guaranteed to refresh you. Waiotoi is perched on a lone ridge, which weaves its way towards the coast. The cabin is surrounded by a thick cloak of Manuka which covers the hillsides, giving you a beautiful view out onto the canopy, and beyond, towards the South Pacific. Just admire the natural beauty of the coast, through the bush to Matapouri, it's a slice of paradise, and a rewarding experience.

Tui Bush Cabin

Take a short drive (approx 3kms) up the valley from Ngunguru to Tui Bush Cabin. This is where you can relax amongst the native bush, and listen to the tui's chatter from dawn till dusk. Our beautiful small wooden cabin comprises of a fitted kitchen with a 4 burner gas hob, convection microwave, toaster, jug, refrigerator and sink. A drop leaf table and chair. A double bed with sheets and duvet. Separate bathroom with flush toilet, basin and shower. Outside decking with table and chairs.

Wai Tai Garden Apartment

Located in an elevated setting, this is the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy the best that the ‘Coast’ has to offer. Spacious living, Smart TV (Netflix, Freeview), dining setting and complimentary Wi-Fi. Fully equipped kitchenette with bar fridge, ceramic hob, microwave and coffee machine together with BBQ for alfresco dining. Seperate bedroom has luxurious Queen bed, duvet, pillows and linen. Entrance is off the carport with undercover parking for the duration of your stay.

Cedar Heights Chalet

Our boutique studio is the perfect space for 2-3 guests. It offers visitors breath-taking views of this stunning coastline and beyond. Set in a tranquil bush setting the studio is a comfortable space with a private kitchen, a contemporary dining space and separate (downstairs) bathroom facilities. There is a small balcony where visitors can enjoy hearing native birds such as the Morepork-Ruru , Tūī and Kererū singing in our private bush, some nights even our native Kiwi.

The Little Blue Bach

Cute and cosy 1950s bach situated centrally in the popular seaside village of Ngunguru, just a short 100m stroll to the estuary. The bach is ideally suited for singles, couples and young families. A convenient five minute drive to Tutukaka Harbour, also known as the gateway to the Poor Knights Islands. World class beaches and coastline including renown surf beach Sandy Bay, family-friendly Matapouri and photogenic Whale Bay are all within a 20 minute drive.

Villa Kula Treehouse

This place was built by a genius with a free reign to create something cool. No expense was spared to protect the trees. A beautiful private lovers retreat in the tree tops, a warm cosy respite for a weather worn walker or a writer's sanctuary or a healing space for forest bathing, botanising or just plain being.  3km from Ngunguru village and right on the Te Araroa trail and the Old Coach road cycleway, there is a lot to see and do around here.
