The Shed: Comfortable & Convenient to Everything!

We call this place "The Shed". It is part of a commercial building that we have transformed into a comfortable & cozy getaway! The name of the game is convenience! We are right on snowmobile trail, close to bike trails, close to fishing & boating on the lake, close to golf, shopping, lots of restaurants & all of the wedding venues! There is room to park your sleds, boats or trailers! Spend the day enjoying all that Crosslake has to offer then come home to cozy up to a nice warm fireplace!

Country Living

Looking for some quiet and solitude our cabin is located in the country sitting on 20 acres of wooded land with walking trails, wildlife, and solitude. But we are still just a short drive to nearby communities for numerous activities to enjoy. We have kayaks and a canoe for rent enjoy an evening on a nearby lake watching the sunset and listening to the loons or enjoy some fishing from the kayak. In the winter enjoy our Outdoor Sauna, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, x-country skiing, or ice fishing.

The Maynard Cabin, a Civil War era log cabin

The Maynard Log Cabin was erected by a homesteader after the civil war. We have moved and restored it and made it available for rent. It is off the grid, but it has a complete functioning kitchen, wood stove and sitting room downstairs. There are two antique beds with new mattresses upstairs. There is no electricity but the cabin is furnished with kerosene lanterns. The bathroom facilities consist of wash basins and outhouse. The cabin is surrounded by 40 acres of woods and meadows.

Stony Lake Getaway

Unwind at this beautiful modern farmhouse style cabin on Big Stony Lake! This brand new, fully furnished 1888 sq ft cabin features an open floor plan and spacious living. The Walley cabin is set on a beautiful resort called The Wilds Resort & Campground. It is just steps away from the lake shore. Imagine laying in bed at night with the windows open and listening to the soft waves of the lake water hitting the shore and the loons calling. It includes a fire pit, picnic table, outdoor chairs, and a charcoal grill as well as a stocked kitchen for cooking. The resort also offers amenities to guests such as all the free to use lake toys at the swimming beach!

Your family will be close to everything at this Newly remodeled 3-level home in Emily. This home is located at a prime trail riding location. It is also located within walking distance to most everything in town, with Emily city park across the street. Yard has plenty of parking space for trailers. Also a fire pit outback to relax after a long day of whatever you choose to do. The trails for ATVs & snowmobiles start right in the backyard. Also Golf courses and fishing lakes nearby.

Close to Itasca, Park Rapids for quaint shopping, Paul Bunyan in Bemidji, fishing in area lakes, and much more. The local beach is a 3 min walk with a fishing pier and boat landing. Walking distance to local eateries. Enjoy the lake views on the screened front porch. Sit by the Bon fire pit and use the outdoor sink for fish cleaning.

Pontoon, kayaks and canoe included. What are your favorite water sports? Log cabin has 3 bedrooms and two baths all on one level. Sleeps 8 and has two roll-a-way beds. Kitchen has fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave. Utensils, pots and pans, silverware and glasses, all on site.

About this space The Potato Shack is the ideal year-round getaway, located on Potato Lake. Our lake is a premier walleye and bass fishing lake in the area. Known for its water clarity, hard sand bottom, and few weeds. We are truly a premier destination for all. Winter enthusiasts can enjoy easy access to trails around the Park Rapids Area. Plus access to the lake for ice fishing. **Full dock access with power and plenty of room for trailer parking on site.

Enjoy the paddle boat, kayaks and dock, and for more fun, rent the pontoon and jet-ski. We also have a 30 amp rv hookup option for $45/day.
