A truly special hideaway in a unique location within the walls of Holkham Park. The characterful, timber barn dates from 1880 and has been sympathetically renovated to provide a spacious, stylish and comfortable studio room with en suite shower, wood burning stove and garden. Within easy waking distance of Holkham Village, beach and NNR and the picturesque town of Wells-next-the-Sea. Blackthorn Retreat features our premium shepherd’s hut & cabin - which sit alone in our dog-secure 1/3 acre fenced meadow, with wonderful far-reaching views, lovely rural walks. Perfect for reactive dogs. Up to two large or three medium dogs welcome (even on the bed - we provide throws). A perfect getaway under the stars. Wonderful wood-fired hot tub available (for a fee). Wood-fired pizza oven & firepit. King bed, shower & kitchen inside the hut, heated floor, cold & hot A/C, washer + dryer.

Peacock a luxury Shepherd Hut based in Norfolk UK

Peacock is a beautiful Shepherd Hut hidden in the quiet woods of historic Ketteringham Hall. A superb place to explore nearby Norwich & Norfolk. The Broads & Norfolk coast are close. The hut has a king size bed, wood burning stove and ensuite bathroom with shower. There is a lovely area surrounded by trees complete with picnic table, BBQ and firepit for 'relaxing. There are 38 acres of grounds to explore plus a large lake .The Orangery Tea Room is on site serving breakfast & teas.

You will find all that’s needed to take the stress away from your stay. A king-sized bed, with luxurious 400 TC Egyptian cotton bedding.
