He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

Country Guesthouse

A quiet, tidy little craftsman home 20 miles from the Mt. Baker National Forest and 40 miles from the Mt. Baker Ski Area. The Middle Fork of the Nooksack and it's wildlife is a short walk to the north. We have a strict cancellation policy but we are really pretty accommodating. If you cancel within 30 days of your stay we will bank those lost funds for future use at any available time in the future. A final note: we require that you be vaccinated and boosted. Our daylight basement apartment is conveniently located for travelers along the Hwy. 20 on the Cascade Loop. Hiking, fishing, boating, and hunting are nearby. Marblemount, a mile away, has two seasonally (mid-April through Oct.) opened restaurants as well as limited groceries and camping supplies. You’ll love our comfortable 800 sf, 2-bedroom apartment as it was recently completed with brand new flooring, paint, and full kitchen and bathroom. Please ask about pets.
