Serene & rustic, rural farm life experience

We're located in a rural setting, ten minutes north of Duncan. This a two acre property on the base of Mt. Prevost and Mt. Sicker, intermittently run as a hobby farm with various farm animals, along with the family dog (Sawyer) and cat (Finnegan). Hiking trails nearby. Ten minute drive to shopping centre and downtown Duncan. Direct highway access and scenic rural routes. Excellent location for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids) a nice rural farm experience!

The Wilder Woods Cottage

This place has everything you will need for a wonderful stay on Salt Spring Island. Close to town but situated in a safe and quiet rural area. Heat pump for warmth or AC, Comfy bed and a couch with hide a bed for extra guests. Patio with furniture and a fire pit. This is our actual home that we can rent out for just a few months out of the year. Outdoor pool available from June 1st-September 1st. There are animals that roam free on this property, a tiny dog and cat. Please only friendly pets.

Sitting on three acres with complete privacy, our custom home was built in the 1940s and perched over Maple Bay and Saltspring Island with incredible panoramic views. Ocean, mountains, rain forest, wildlife and constant sun throughout the day makes this retreat like no other. Home is very accessible, has a rustic cottage feel, natural landscape, with ample private parking and a heated pool from June to mid October. We are a 5 minute drive from West Shawnigan Lake Park (lake access) and an 8 minute drive from Masons Beach / Shawnigan village, and a 50 minute drive from Victoria.

Beautiful new studio suite in private home, with full bathroom, kitchenette, bbq area and private covered deck with spectacular ocean view. 5 minute walk to trail head at Mt Erskine Provincial Park. Our worry free luxury cottage is our second dwelling on our main resident property and therefore is risk free of unexpected cancellations. While you are here and getting to know the ropes enjoy all the; local wineries/breweries, tea farm, fresh farm food, local artisans and marinas all within minutes of our location. Take a short walk down to the kayak rental if you’re feeling like you want to play in the water, or just enjoy laying on the beach.

A Scandinavian cabin nestled amongst a lush landscape filled with willow trees, an orchard and multiple nearby beaches. Mid-island, this rustic cabin is perfect for any couple (or small group) shacking up in the woods. Features a full kitchen inside, outhouse, outdoor shower, fire pit, covered porch & access to pebble beach trails, making this a magical retreat. Please note that there is no wi-fi at the cabin and no cell reception making this cabin experience a great way to unplug and connect with nature.
