Greenlands Barn on the old River Tone navigation

Greenlands Barn is in a lovely quiet spot off the River Tone. From the doorstep you can walk along the river, go further onto the Somerset levels or do a circuit to the local pub in the next village. The barn is light and airy with a large kitchen diner & living room, king size bedroom, spacious bathroom, walled courtyard and private riverbank. There are mountain bikes and a 2-person canoe for use during your stay. Historic towns, countryside or just a rest by the wood-burning stove awaits you.

Approximately 10 mins from M5 junction 23 a perfect stop to spend a night or more exploring nearby surroundings, or attending a wedding nearby, or to break up a long journey. Quantock Hills are a 10min drive. Bridgwater train station 20 to 30 mins walk. Walking distance to the town centre, supermarkets and public transport. Adults only. Being close to the national cycle routes 33 and 339 it is popular with cyclists, walkers, and bird watchers alike.

Exclusive use of private hot tub. Private garden and bbq area. Set in 12 acres of a grade 2 listed former rectory dating back to 1798. It is the perfect base for exploring the area, resting a weary head after a day's work or just some R&R in the countryside! Our well equipped annexe is adjoining our family home yet with its own entrance and offers a bedroom, shower room and snug. There is a delicious breakfast tray to set you up for the day and full tea / coffee making facilities including fridge

The ancient town of Langport is under 2 miles away and Glastonbury, Wells and Taunton within easy reach.
