The Wild Chicken Holiday Suite with Coffee Bar!

Welcome to "The Wild Chicken Holiday Suite" We are situated 1 km from the National Park and 5 minutes to downtown Cheticamp. The suite has a dream coffee bar with excellent coffee and tea choices as well as other hot beverages too. You will also be delighted with fresh that morning seasonal muffins that I make and forage the fruit for! You also have your own private deck and entrance with a table and umbrella! As a guest you have full access to the fire pit with wood included! NO MICROWAVE.

It is like sleeping in a painting! From your balcony or hot tub enjoy amazing views of the ocean, lingering sunsets, my sculpture garden, while listening to the sounds of nature in this unique creative space. Our home & little piece of artistic heaven is located just 3 km from Inverness, Cabot Golf, a 3 km sandy beach & 30 sec walk from my gallery. Your cozy guest suite is located on the top floor & includes a bedroom, living room, kitchenette, bathroom & your own private entrance.

Wild Rose Cottage

This cottage is centrally located between Baddeck, Inverness and Cheticamp. It is approximately 30 min each way. It features a lovely, large back yard with firepit area and mountain views. The Portree bridge is a short walk down the road, which is a popular swimming spot. The river runs along the opposite side of the road. There are lots of local beaches, hiking trails and golf courses in the area. The property also has direct access to the highland snowmobile/atv trails.

Guesthouse Studio Suite

Our studio guesthouse is located minutes from Chimney Corner Beach and the world famous Cabot Trail. We are located just 20 minutes from the town of Inverness, where you can enjoy a round of golf at our world class golf courses as well as enjoy many great restaurants and beaches. The studio guesthouse is quaint and comfortable and comes with everything you may need for a relaxing getaway including an oceanfront sauna. We look forward to having you stay:)

Swallow Bank Cottage #3 on the Margaree River

This one bedroom cottage is located in Margaree Centre. Our four, full housekeeping cottages sit along the Margaree River, just minutes from the Cabot Trail. Cottage 3 has been recently renovated inside and out. New bathroom, upgraded kitchen, and a queen bed with a luxury Logan & Cove mattress. The cottage also has a sofa bed in the living area for extra sleeping space. Check in is anytime after 3pm. Check out is 11am.

Historic Lighthouse on St Ann’s Bay - Cabot Trail

The Monroe Point Lighthouse (built in 1905) served as a Canadian Federal Lighthouse until 1962. Nestled in St. Anns, N.S., it has inspired writers, artists, and creatives from around the world with its breathtaking mountain and ocean views. Perfect for two adults, this unique retreat offers tranquil nights under starry skies, stunning sunrises over Kelly’s Mountain, and sweeping views of St. Ann’s Bay.

Chez Marianne - Hot tub getaway!

Charming and cozy, this fully renovated house is the perfect getaway! Located only 10 minutes away from the village of Cheticamp and the Gypsum Mines Trail, 15 minutes from the Cape Breton Highland National Park, and 30 minutes away from the Cabot Cape Breton Golf Resort, this perfect spot has a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, a small living room, one bathroom and a private 6 person hot tub.

Bothan Beag - Tiny House on the Water

Our 25’ x 8.5’ tiny house is situated on a beautiful secluded piece of ocean front property in Port Hood with a secluded beach and spacious deck. There is a loft with a queen sized bed and a sofa in the main area that turns into a double bed. There is a 3 piece bathroom in the back underneath the loft as well as a second small private room with enough space to set up a pack n' play.

Sunrise Wilderness Cabin, Cabot Trail

Our cozy wilderness cabin offers total privacy on 50 acres of old growth forest. It offers a stunning view of the North Mountain/Aspy valley out to the distant ocean. Close to Cape Breton Highlands National Park, trails, kayaking/biking, beaches & whale watching. Simple and rustic with deck, kitchenette, bed, BBQ. Free kayak rental included at our shop nearby.

The Garden Shed

Our little Garden Shed is a rustic guesthouse on our family property, perched above the beautiful Margaree Valley and just off the Cabot Trail. It's a cozy, rustic space with a composting toilet, solar shower, woodstove heat, and lots of charm — best suited to guests looking for a simple, countryside stay.
