Welcome to your cozy cottage in the bucolic Hudson Valley. Only 90 mi. north of NYC. We welcome small dogs, under 25 lbs. with prior host approval. Sorry, NO CATS. Enjoy biking, hiking, skiing, local culture or just relaxing. 1 mile outside a charming village in farm and horse country, your cottage has a full kitchen/LR, 2 BRS (1 queen, 1 full), bathrm, washer/dryer, deck, patio & yard. Take a canoe across a lily pad dotted lake to your own private island paradise. You will never find a magical space like this so close! The entire island is yours to enjoy and has plenty of outdoor spaces including a propane grill, hammocks and plenty of seating areas. The inside a humble aesthetic with wood paneling and charm.

With skylights and soaring windows, you can experience the natural beauty of the forest from every room—whether you're sipping coffee while watching deer or wild turkeys wander through the yard, enjoying the gentle drift of autumn leaves, or cozying up during a summer storm. Even on chilly days, the house feels connected to nature in a peaceful, grounding way. Guests have access to our local swimming hole, Mudge Pond.
