Hidden gem in Rising Sun, MD just 12 min. from I95 right off of Rt 1, 10 miles from Fair Hill, 20 miles from Longwood Gardens. Enter via private gate, down a beautiful tree lined drive. Open concept living area with fully equipped kitchen, main bedrm with queen bed and 2nd bedrm with custom made bunk beds (1 full&1 twin). Bath w/walkin shower and washer/dryer in closet. Outdoor has a deck and patio with table, chairs grill and fire pit. Horses welcome, $50 per horse per night. Pool via Swimply.

Beautiful Creekside Cabin

The beautiful cabin is a nature lover's paradise with a babbling brook that offers solace for the body and soul. It is a retreat that will allow you to feel the presence of God as you relax and take deep breaths! This home has a master bedroom with a queen bed, and a second bedroom with a single trundle bed. The kitchen is slightly stocked (pots, dishes, drip coffee maker, small refrig and an antique stove, but no working oven). A gas fireplace adds a cozy feature to the living space.

Cabin is very charming, but rustic. Kitchen has full size frig, microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, toaster+ keurig. Coffee, condiments, soap & shampoo provided. There is a gas grill. Guests provide their qs sheets, towels, campfire wood & drinking water. A variety of dvd’s & games, hot water in & outside shower & tub. Tubes for floating provided, swim your own risk. Fire pit, creek is stocked. Steps to deck overlooking the creek.Trash goes home with guests, smoking on the decks only.

Gunpowder Cabin is a peaceful getaway set on 9+ wooded acres and a private drive in Northern Maryland, just an hour from Baltimore. With a half mile of hiking trails, and over 600 feet of frontage on Octoraro Creek, there are numerous options for taking in the natural beauty: warm up by our two firepits, lounge in a hammock, take a dip in the river, or fish for trout from the shoreline. A secluded retreat that feels remote, but moments from the civilization you came to escape.

Unwind in our cabin tucked away on a private lane mins from Chestertown. We are situated on 6.5 wooded acres, perched up on 100’ bluff overlooking Churn Creek, a tributary off the Chesapeake Bay. Idyllic water views framed by a canopy of oak trees. Enjoy nature as you relax outside by the fire pit or stroll down to the ‘point’ to take in wildlife, or take a kayak out to explore the creek and water fowl. Deer come up through the woods and are often spotted on the property.

You will find a number of wedding venues, golf courses, restaurants, entertainment and shopping all within a short drive of the property.

View spectacular sunsets from our porch looking out on the Chesapeake Bay. Our house is one floor with an open living room/kitchen area with two bedrooms. Newly renovated hardwood floors with a fireplace, flat screen tv/entertainment center and internet access allows for casual, comfortable living. Seasonal Community Dock access with sandy bottom beach is minutes away and at end of our road.
