Welcome to 18 Lake. Situated in beautiful, quiet, Port Kent, NY, this gem is the perfect place to relax and get away. People come from all across the country to tour this charming area on bicycles in summer, and from all over the world during the winter for Lake Placid's winter sports. In fall, the colors are vibrant and breathtaking. Fresh maple products are on tap in Spring. Enjoy area attractions such as Ausable Chasm, High Falls Gorge, Port Kent Beach, golf, orchards, hiking and biking.

The Olive Branch

We are located 100 yards from the downtown area, and 300 yards from Lake Flower, but in a nice residential spot. We grow our own food in our front yard and on our large porch. House is over 100 years old, comfortably furnished. Style is "Early American Garage Sale." Very close to canoe and kayak rentals, and minutes away from 3 boat launches and boat rentals. 1 block from new Adirondack RAIL TRAIL. Your hosts were involved in eco-tourism for many years and can provide a wealth of information.

Below the Books, Beside the Lake

Located in the center of Main St., on Mirror Lake, Below the Books, Beside the Lake is a lakefront, 2 BR, 1 bath. apt. We have a fully equipped kitchen, but if you don't feel like cooking, one of Lake Placid's busiest restaurants is located right next door. There is in-floor heat in the bathroom, a full-size washer and dryer and the bedrooms have wall-mounted AC. You will have your own private deck with gas grill, and access to Mirror Lake. Private Lakefront Chalet Cabin w/babbling brook

Our all season Adirondack Chalet is nestled on a quaint cove with its own sandy private beach + babbling brook. Our vaulted ceilings with an open floor plan are ideal for entertaining. Includes a wheelchair accessible ramp entrance with 2 bedrooms, full bath, and wood burning stove on the first floor. A 3rd bedroom and 1/2 bath are upstairs. Our bonus loft overlooking the lake (accessable by ladder) is great for morning coffee or night stargazing Located within walking distance to town beach!

Adirondack Vacation Destination Lodge on Fern Lake

This mountain retreat is designed for relaxation, comfort and fun! Located in the pristine Adirondack Park and located adjacent to Palmer Brook Sportsman Club that provides over 5000+ acres of recreational trails for xc skiing (no lifts/ tow rope), snowshoe, snowmobile, atv, mountain bike trails all starting from your doorstep. Arrangements can be made for access Jan-Aug months simply include this request in your stay and enjoy the great outdoors all day and relax by the fireplace at night.

On the shore of Lake Flower, and access to 24 miles of the lake chain, rustic Marcy -- an updated High Peak Adirondack cabin -- is perfect for a romantic getaway or time away with friends. Close to all North Country activities, she is one mile to Saranac Lake and a 10 minute drive to Lake Placid. Or just stay at the lake and enjoy the porch and community HOA's lakeside property. F/Q bed with pullout sofa for an additional guest. Drapes for bath privacy. It's cozy. Marcy is a respite for all.

Juniper Hill cabin is a new construction two bedroom/one bathroom home situated in Wilmington, NY. This cabin sits in the heart of the Adirondack mountains and is minutes to outdoor adventure of all kinds! Only five minutes to Whiteface Mountain and less than 15 minutes to downtown Lake Placid, the convenience of the location is key for both outdoor enthusiasts and those looking to just getaway and relax in nature. The Ausable River and Lake Everest are both within walking distance.

We are 5 minutes from Saranac Lake, 10 Minutes from Lake Placid, and 25 minutes from Whiteface. Located on a peninsula of Oseetah Lake, we have waterfront access perfect for ice skating, snowshoeing and XC skiing in the winter right from our doorstep. The lake offers sweeping views of Ampersand and the surrounding mountains.
