Magical Treehouse

Sleep up in the trees in our cozy Magical Treehouse. This place is the perfect base camp for your next adventure, or a unique spot to curl up with a good book. The perfect place to be in the woods, but not isolated. Cook your meals in the nearby cookhouse (40’ away, unheated) on a camp stove or over an open campfire. A heated bathroom/shower is 20’ away. We provide you with linens, cookware, plus help you plan your trip. Property includes miles of hiking trails and beautiful places to explore!

Beautiful rural location on a 13 acre lot looking out on the NY Adirondack mountains with some lake views and often spectacular sunsets. About 5 minutes to NY Crown point state park and the Champlain Bridge Restaurant, 20 minutes to Middlebury college or Vergennes. 55 minutes to the Burlington Airport. Plenty of restaurants in a 20 minute radius. Closest ski area is Middlebury snow bowl ( +- 40 min)

Our Chalet is located on the Iron Man and Lake Placid Marathon course. We are 5 miles from ADK Loj rd. A main entry point to a large amount of hiking in the Adirondacks including Mount Marcy, the highest peak in NY. We are also a short drive to Whiteface Mountain, a popular ski destination. We are 5 minutes from Saranac Lake, 10 Minutes from Lake Placid, and 25 minutes from Whiteface. Located on a peninsula of Oseetah Lake, we have waterfront access perfect for ice skating, snowshoeing and XC skiing in the winter right from our doorstep. The lake offers sweeping views of Ampersand and the surrounding mountains.
