Te Tiro Cottage Two & Glowworms

We have two beautiful “Pioneer-style” cottages nestled in amongst the stunning Waitomo landscape. Enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the central North Island and mountains in our two self-contained, pioneer-style cottages (sleep 4 persons). - Cottage set-up to sleep 4 people - 2 Adults and 2 children - 2 Couple (Cozy) The price is for a up to 4 guests. Our place is great for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). We are a 15-20 minute drive past the Waitomo Village so it pays to eat before you come up or bring supplies with you. There is a two element cook top and a microwave. The cottage is one room with a queen bed down and a small loft above that has two single mattresses in it. Cosy but cute. Each cottage has its own bathroom about 8 steps from the cottage. We would love you to come and share our little piece of paradise. The accommodation is nestled within a bush setting on top of a hill where you can see out over the whole central north Island. You even have your own grotto only meters from your door where you can sit quietly surrounded by a galaxy of Glow-worms. Enjoy the starry nights and peace and quiet of the country. You are more them welcome to wander around the farmland and enjoy the fantastic views, check out the Dab Chick Pond and beautiful native bush. Amazing views/Glowworms/Native bush/Caves/Black Water Rafting. If we are not going to be home there is still family around to help out if needed. Check in is from 3pm/ check out at 10am.

Tau Studio - Boutique Accommodation

Tau Studio is a boutique style chalet with a modern stylish decor and a hint of luxury. Everything is provided including top quality linen. It is very spacious but also has a lovely cosy, warm feel. Perfect for couples. It is based in the lovely quiet village of Rangataua which is only a 5-minute drive to Ohakune township where there are plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops. The winter offers fantastic skiing and snowboarding, and summer offers lots of walks, mountain biking and fishing.

The host's partner has developed an extensive network of tracks , some easy walks and some more challenging, with great views of the bay.

Our place is situated at the beautiful Ohope beach, 2 minute walk from a very popular swimming and surfing beach (great for learners), 5-7 minute drive to shops, wharf, golf course, bush walks, restaurant and cafes. We offer unlimited wifi, a smart tv in bedroom, card games and kids toys, a deck with a BBQ, large sunshade an equipped kitchen for cooking or baking.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE: We have Wifi available through out the property that sometimes has a weak/moderate signal. this is due to our location and sometimes bad weather

Romantic night in a 'Hole in the Ground'

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Spend a night in a real 'Hole in the Ground' in the middle of the Waikato. Situated between my grapes and the Feijoa orchard. Comes with a nice breakfast with homemade bread and bacon and eggs (own chickens) and homemade jams. Only suited for one or 2 persons (pets only at prior approval, service animals are ok).

Fantail Bush Chalet and Hot tub

A stay at the "Fantail Chalet" offers beautiful bush views. Soak in the fresh air and wake up to the serenade of Tui's and Fantails. A unique bush chalet to enjoy tranquility, relax on the deck with a ​lovely book or glass of wine? Or open the double glass doors, sit on the bed and watch the fantails coming for a visit.

Sleep-out at Whanga

Brand new self contained Studio with covered deck area, opening onto fully fenced sunny garden, private from neighbours. Short walk to Main Beach, Estuary and Nine Hole Golf Course. Whangamata is suitable for all water sports, walking, tramping, biking etc Our township hosts general shopping, cafes and restaurants.

Matakana Village Chalet and sleepout

My place is a self contained unit with a separate bathroom and bedroom. The lounge/kitchen has a day bed also. We have just added an extra sleepout with queen sized bed. We provide milk, yoghurt, cereal tea and coffee as a first morning breakfast starter.

You want waterfront...here it is metres from high tide. Walk to local cafes, shops you name it. Bikes & double kayak available for FREE use. Swim, fish, relax. Cycle trail at the gate. Ideal base to explore the region, Mapua, Abel Tasman, Golden Bay
