The cottage is on a ten acre property surrounded by nature in every direction. The cottage is spacious with unique features like an outdoor bath and a lovely rainforest driveway. Rare and endemic species of rainforest and fruit trees. Wildlife and birds live and visit the property . Tree kangaroos nearby. The Crater Lakes National Park and several towns are only a 10 min drive. Secluded and magical in it's nature , Wompoo is the place to stay and take in natures ever changing ambience.

Part of a secure 1 hectare (2 acres) estate, the cottage is 200m from the main historic homestead. There is plenty to do here, including museums, bush walking and pack donkey treks, day trips to some real outback towns and other attractions, all only 1.5 hours' drive from Cairns International Airport. The entire Granny Flat is yours with private access, kitchen and living area, separate bedroom with queen sized bed and ensuite with rain shower.
