Tiny Cabin Near Revolution Rail and Rafting

Frostpine Cabin was thoughtfully designed as a beautiful, comfortable space to return to after a day spent enjoying the outdoors, whether skiing, hiking, or exploring the Adirondacks. It is a warm and inviting retreat where you can relax, unwind, and reconnect at the end of the day. Winter Access Note: AWD or 4WD is REQUIRED from November through April due to mountain conditions. Snow and ice are common, and two wheel drive vehicles may not be able to safely access the cabin during this period.

Adirondacks Garnet Hill: pristine lake, privacy

Winter: Park at ski shop. Ski in/out cabin is ON the trail system. Private, cozy, fully equipped cabin at Garnet Hill in the ADK forest. Gas fireplace, grill and screened in porch. Steps from hiking trailheads. Access (not lakefront) to protected 13th Lake with sandy beach. Two one-seat kayaks come with the rental. Mountain biking (cabin is on the trails), white water rafting, and tubing nearby. Please note: this is a NOT a hotel/condo or business Airbnb. it has been in our family for 30 years!

It is walking distance to the Garnet Hill Cross Country ski/snowshoe trails. As the snow melts, explore nearby hiking and mountain biking routes or embark on a serene adventure at 13th Lake. For the daring spirit, whitewater rafting awaits. Inside, the house has undergone a complete transformation, offering modern comforts.

ADK Mountaintop Chalet, 15 acres, Birch Tree Camp

Welcome to your mountaintop base camp to the Adirondacks! Birch Tree Camp is located in the heart of the Adirondacks on 15 acres of unspoiled wilderness surrounded by lakes, rivers, hiking trails and historical sites. Marvel at the sunset overlooking the mountains, bundle up with s'mores by the bonfire, stay up all night looking at the stars, or sway on the hammock surrounded by hummingbirds. An Adirondack four season camp nestled in the mountains of beautiful Indian Lake. This camp borders thousands of acres of "Forever Wild" land in the Hudson Gorge Wilderness area. Walk across the street and bushwack for miles and miles. OK Slip Falls trailhead is less than a mile away. Skiing at Gore Mountain is 10 minutes away. There are endless things to do in the area-fishing, skiing, hiking, multiple museums, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, kayaking and canoeing to start your getaway!

We serve a complementary breakfast In our common dining room. Other meals can be arranged so you can relax after a long day hiking, snowshoeing,skiing. Pet sitting available. Tons of fun locally and central ask location . After 2 people there is an extra fee of $50 per person per day.

Gore Mountain is about 15 minutes away. Hiking trailheads are minutes away. The rustic Garnet Hill Lodge & Restaurant is up the road to enjoy lunch, dinner or their cocktail lounge. You can take a 12 minute ride to historic North Creek for restaurants, shopping and antiquing.
