The Pines Treehouse @ Treetops Hideouts

The Pines Treehouse is nestled underneath a huge oak tree sitting high above the running water of Sand Beck. Nature cocoons you and you can reach out and touch the trees, see wildlife all around you amongst the pines. With breathtaking views through the tress and across the valley you are completely private having no other accommodation on the site making this a truly unique and special experience. A great effort has gone into creating this space to allow you to simply relax and reset in nature.

Private entrance into a decked area at the front, with covered hot tub and seating area. Large bedroom, fully tiled bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen. Quiet hours 10pm-8am. Hot tub can be used any time.

We are ideally situated for exploring local walks and countryside and if you’re attending weddings at the nearby Eden Barn. Further afield is the market town of Kirkby Stephen, where you will find numerous independent shops, cafes pubs and restaurants. The Cottage in Brough accommodates up to 5 guests in 2 bedrooms, and we are dog-friendly!

Definitely off the beaten track, but easily accessible – just turn off the B6270 at the “Ravenseat only” sign. For centuries part of a farm, Far End is the perfect bolthole for two people seeking escape, peace and tranquility in the Dales.

La'l Riggs

La'l Riggs is a former outbuilding we converted in 2025. Surrounded by fields and fells, it's an ideal base for exploring the many beautiful locations within easy reach, including the North Pennines National Landscape, the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. The Eden Valley is primarily walking country, and there's an excellent choice of routes in the area. The village is a 15 minute walk away, and has a bar/restaurant, two cafes and a chippy, as well as a shop for everyday groceries.

Westwood Farm

Our home and your delightful holiday residence Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Enjoy relaxing outside with views across to the fells. Sleep in a very comfortable double-bed, refresh in the en-suite shower and wet-room, utilise the well-equipped kitchen and relax watching TV, listening to the radio, reading or playing games. Like walking or cycling? Use our extensive knowledge of routes, use our boot wash, indoor bike store, bike wash & work station and drying room.

Ideal as base a for exploring the local area or a stopover en-route to & from the north. Dogs welcome with enclosed garden and walks from the doorstep. Kipling Cottage, Tiny One Bedroom House and Garden

This very old, very tiny cottage offers guests a truly cosy place to stay. You’ll find everything you need in just 18 square metres! Ideal for couples and walkers to enjoy a getaway amongst the beautiful countryside of the North Pennines. The approach to Kipling Cottage is stunning and gives you your first glimpse of the beautiful rolling countryside. Please note that the cottage is not suitable for toddlers/small children, and all children must be declared during the booking process.

Barn annexe La’L Skaithe

2 miles from Kirby Stephen, annexe to the main house with own entrance and use of garden in front of the property, outdoor seating. Own front door and a small porch area . We welcome dogs to stay. Bathroom with step into the large shower and non slip mat available , a living and kitchen area with a comfy sofa, table and chairs and a cooker and hob ( no cooker extractor) microwave and fridge. A door leads off the living and kitchen area to a bedroom with double bed and wardrobe.
