Nestled in a secluded location approximately 900m from the nearest dwelling, access is via a dirt track and a couple of gates. It is located at the base of the farm's surrounding hills it has stunning scenery, natural bushland and an abundance of Australian flora & fauna. The cabin itself is perfect for any couple looking to have a romantic getaway. Thereis a no children policy.

Short Street Cottage is a renovated 3 bedroom home on a 300acre working farm in the picturesque village of Weabonga, in the foothills of the New England Tablelands. It provides a secluded and quiet stay for families or small groups of 6 to get away from it all in comfort and luxury. Beautifully furnished with restored and vintage furniture and a carefully curated selection of artwork and treasures. For the winter months there is a cosy wood burning heater and an outdoor fire pit .

Our home is located in a quiet street in East Tamworth and has just been completely renovated to provide a modern, stylish and comfortable retreat. Four generous bedrooms, all with built in robes, accommodate 2 guests each with 3 Queen and 1 Double bed. The master has a walk in robe with en-suite. There is a large lounge room as well as a second sitting room and a separate dining area. There is also a large undercover outdoor area with a BBQ and off street undercover parking for 2 cars.

The property is a wildlife sanctuary so you can enjoy the birds that abound in the trees but please no pets. We have our own who we are happy to share with you during your stay.

Carthage Cottage is a great spot to stay as it is close to the middle of Tamworth business district and it is an easy walk to the centre of town if you would like to explore. The Cottage, one of Tamworth’s original railway cottages, is set up to meet all your needs.. The cottage does now have wifi and you are welcome to use it. We are happy to help you out if you need anything else extra. It is in a quiet friendly neighbourhood and you can park off the street here.
