This 600 square foot, 1 bedroom laneway home feels much larger, featuring 13 foot ceilings with clerestory windows bringing in a ton of natural light. Quartz counters, Carrara marble backsplash, distressed strand-woven bamboo flooring and mid-century modern furniture give the space a gallery-like feel. In-floor heating throughout adds a cozy touch throughout the winter. An enclosed, private patio is the perfect place for a spring/summer evening nightcap. The entire space is yours to enjoy. We live close by so are available for anything our guests might need - transit directions, restaurant recommendations, sight-seeing suggestions, etc. The guest home is in Central Lonsdale, one of the friendliest areas of North Vancouver. It has a quiet neighborhood feel, but is just 3 blocks from groceries, cafes, shops, a gas station, and restaurants. There is a parking space available on the property and a lot of street parking available. Parking is never an issue. Our location is extremely central to transit with a bus stop around the corner, 3 blocks to Lonsdale and all amenities, short walk (15-20 min) to sea bus offering access to downtown Vancouver. 20 minutes via bus to downtown Vancouver. 3 minutes to Highway 1, 10 minutes to Grouse Mountain and less than an hour and a half to Whistler.

Our detached cottage for one traveller is in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. It is a comfy private space with skylights, vaulted ceiling, spacious desk, very fast wifi, and a peaceful garden outlook. Located near the Seymour River and the Baden-Powell trail network. Close by are Capilano University, Capilano and Lynn Valley suspension bridges, Deep Cove Village, Maplewood Flats bird refuge, and Lonsdale Quay. Downtown Vancouver is 25 mins. by car or bus, a few steps away. Free street parking.

Come for some private seclusion away from the chaos of the city. This exclusive, stand alone retreat situated on 13.5 secluded acres has all those things city folk are looking for in a getaway. At the end of the day, you can cook in the full kitchen, use the barbecue or visit one of the many excellent restaurants in the Village.

One bedroom carriage house cottage in the private serenity of Caulfeild Cove, a block away from 6 miles of hiking trails in Lighthouse Park. French doors to south facing balcony overlooking the ocean. Park and ocean trails are directly in front. This private, open plan suite was created from my former yoga studio within our family home, reusing and repurposing materials wherever possible. Warm reclaimed hardwood floors leads to a deck at the edge of the Princess Park forest, with a salmon creek running to the west. Wildlife often passes through — raccoons, owls, and occasionally even a bear. Some of the North Shore’s best mountain biking is just a block away. A quiet, unique retreat designed for rest, privacy, and nature.
