Railway Carriage Hideaway

A beautiful hand-renovated 1960s railway carriage, nestled in a quiet rural farm in Norton le Clay, North Yorkshire. Featuring bespoke detail throughout, our unique hideaway features a luxurious double bed with TV, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, and a cosy log burner. Outside, enjoy the fenced private space with a fire pit/BBQ, games and seating overlooking the iconic White Horse. Tucked behind a wildflower bank with its own track and parking, this is a peaceful spot to unwind.

This is one of three lovely shepherds hut in a woodland garden retreat. We are five minutes walk from the pretty dales town of Pateley Bridge and a field away from the Nidderdale Way. Woodside Hut has a double bed, wood burning stove and small kitchen with two ring hob and fridge. We have separate showers and toilets with underfloor heating and a secure drying room. Local attractions include Dalby Forest, Yorkshire Water Park and many more. Enjoy the abundances of local wildlife from the comfort of hut.

Stunning rural shepherds hut

Located in the stunning Howardian Hills, this is a peaceful and romantic location. A perfect all year round escape. You park your car and the hut is a 5 minute walk from our house- make sure you pack suitable footwear. We can transport your luggage to the hut. The hut has cooking facilities (oven and a hob), there is also a fire pit for barbecues and a picnic table for outdoor dining. You have exclusive use of a hot tub which is right next to the hut.

Luxury, romantic, boutique shepherd's hut on a smallholding in between the villages of Barton and Middleton Tyas near Richmond, North Yorkshire. We only have one hut, making it a very private, peaceful and exclusive retreat. Nestled in a beautiful dell, surrounded by trees, it overlooks a duck pond and the remains of the old stone limekilns. Plenty of wildlife for nature lovers including a flock of friendly rare breed sheep, hens, rabbits, and owls.
