This sweet post & beam house is located near town yet private and tucked away in the woods, cozy & comfortable, pet friendly, close to ATV & snowmobile trails, and Baxter State Park, Katadhin Woods and Water, plus numerous lakes and the beautiful Penobscot River. The house can comfortably sleep up to 6 people. The living area is open and sunny with a big kitchen. There is plenty of parking for recreational trailers. Come enjoy a rewarding climb up Katahdin or grab a book and read on the deck.

Family Friendly Lakefront Cottage, Ambajejus Lake

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. This is a large (1600 sq. ft.) kid friendly cottage that has all of the conveniences of a home with the beauty and charm of a lakefront cabin. The construction was finished in 2024 so everything is new including the furniture and appliances. The cabin waterfront is in a shallow cove. The depth at the end of the dock is less than 3 feet making it a good place for wading and exploring for kids. Water shoes recommended.

Lake house with full view of Katahdin. Paddleboards and kayaks available. It offers a large open kitchen/living room. Cabin has 5 bedrooms and can sleep 10. Enjoy a hike, bike, or just soak in the view of Mt. Katahdin from the sauna. There are 5 star restaurants within 1/2 mile, Knife Edge Brewery, Golden Road Yacht Club, River Drivers, Fredricka's. The perfect weekend getaway spot with beautiful views. It is renovated with an old time cozy camp feel, with modern conveniences. This pet friendly camp is across the street from Schoodic Lake. The cozy camp sleeps 5-6 comfortably with on-site parking for three. The camp is located on ITS 111 trails for snowmobiling and ATVing. Welcome to our relaxing lakefront property situated on Sebec lake in Maine. The 3 bedroom (3 queen beds plus 1 sleeper sofa to sleep 8 guests), 2 ½ bath home. Also, the "Loft" with A/C above the garage (4th bedroom) is available for a separate fee. It has a queen bed plus twin day bed and a trundle sleeping up to 4 guests, no bathroom. Rustic Country Apartment on The Moosehead Trail.

We recently acquired the house we live in which has an efficiency apartment in the back. It is cozy and private. The house is old and unique. It was previously a long term rental. We wanted to provide a restful space in the heart of Maine Highlands, the crossroads of Central Maine. We enjoy the scenic area with beautiful lakes rivers, multiuse trail systems and trail head of the 100 mile wilderness of the Appalachian Trail, Moosehead lake, Maine's largest lake, and State Parks.
