Authentic Wooden House by the River with an Igloo

Welcome to an Authentic Lappish Wooden house with a unique character and location. After sauna spot the northern lights from the terrace and when you see them, head to the river, 200 meters from the house, for spectacular views of the Auroras without light pollution. Upon returning to the house drift to relaxation while enjoying the fireplace. Located within the city area, this is the perfect place to have a bit of distance from the tourist filled areas and experience the peace of Lapland.

Wooden cottage by the lake. Enjoy peace and quiet, explore the surrounding woodland, pick berry or try fishing. Woodland trails for hiking and mountain biking. Rowing boat. Lake share is shallow and suitable also for children. Electric lighting and heating. Outdoor Sauna by wooden stove. Hot and cold water (drinkable) from tap. Air conditions (living room and both of bed rooms), Fridge/freezer, coffee maker, microwave, electric oven and hobs. The nearest market in Posio 20 km from cottage.

Villa Pahta, More than just accommodation! PEACE!

A beautiful area only a 15 min drive from the city centre. Our cozy villa (280m2) is a unique place to spend a holiday near the city, yet in a very peaceful environment, surrounded by the wild nature. You can sit by the bonfire. Whenever the Aurora Borealis appear on the sky, it is easy to see them, because there is no artificial light other than the lights of the our villa. (much better than city centre) I also offer a real Santa Claus visit to my Villa for a small additional fee.

Elän unelmaa todeksi asumalla täällä keskellä metsää, vanhassa mökissä. Täällä saat kokea todellisen lapin luonnon, ja maalaistunnelman. Tämä on minun koti, ei hotelli. Mökki sijaitsee upealla jokitörmällä Kemijoen rannalla. Paikka on rauhallisella paikalla, isolle tielle on matkaa 300m. Mökistä löytyy juomavesi ja sähköt. Mökissä on sähkölämmittimet. Halutessasi voin opastaa kuinka käytät puulämmitteistä saunaa ja takkaa. Mökin keittiö ja ruokailutila on hyvin varusteltu.

Lake view cabin

Our peaceful remote cabin offers you everyhting you might need to let go off your stress and experince the best in Lapland. Beautiful views, traditional sauna experience, and sitting by the bonfire is included in the price. Good spot to see the northern lights. Summertime is also full of activities, rowning around an island, fishing (lots of pike), berries, nightless nights etc. We are located 25 km from the center of Rovaniemi, in the most amazing spot you can find in the area.

Erikseen voi vuokrata paljun tai pihapiirissä olevan savusaunan lämmitettynä. Lisävuodepaikkoja mahdollisuus varata yhteismajoituksena päärakennuksesta. Myös lisävuodepatjoja löytyy lapsille. Taikaloora cottage is an idyllic and cozy cottage on the shore of Lake Oulujärvi in Finland. It lies a short walk away from the ameneties of Vaala's town center. The cottage includes a small kitchen, bathroom, living room and an open bedroom. Just beside the cottage is an idyllic lakeside sauna with amazing view to the Lake Oulujärvi. NOTE: Cleaning fee of 90,- will be charged if the guests don't clean the cottage to the same condition it was while arriving.
